My Story

I began my journey in writing Children's Books after becoming pregnant with my first son. I have been a member of SCBWI since 2017 and a proud recipient of a 1st place award for Best Picture Book at a SoCal SCBWI Conference. Additionally, I have successfuly run a 200+ member MeetUp Critique Group, and am an active member of the SCBWI SoCal Critique Group.

Well, 8 years later, and I am still on my journey, except this time I have two little dudes in tow. 

So, when my oldest first started reading and showed some reluctance (as most BOYS do!) I knew I needed to get creative in order to make sure he fell as much in love

with reading as I have.  And that is how our YouTube channel,

2 Lil' Dudes Read Books was born.
